A single heart can ECHO a wish far and wide!
At the Mōʻiliʻili Summer Fest, 115 Save Your Spot With A Heart Bookmarks (origami heart bookmarks that hold personal intentions for heart-healthy habits) were folded at the Early Cardiovascular Health Outreach (ECHO) community table. We donated the bookmarks to the Mōʻiliʻili Library to launch our latest program, The ECHO Wishing Well. This program invites community members to fold Save Your Spot With A Heart Bookmarks, while pledging to incorporate one of ECHO’s Four Pillars to live a heart-healthy life.
Completed Save Your Spot With A Heart Bookmarks can either be kept or be donated to The ECHO Wishing Well, where the pledge and wish for a heart-healthy life will echo throughout the community.

ECHO created Save Your Spot With A Heart to transform a simple creative activity into a meaningful, heart-healthy experience. Through the art of folding, reflecting, and sharing, participants are encouraged to connect with their own well-being while inspiring lifelong heart health that extends beyond the individual and into the community. Thanks to a meaningful connection between ECHO Founder and CEO Kimberly Uehisa and Mōʻiliʻili Library Branch Manager and Librarian Hillary Chang, Echo’s Wishing Well has taken root in the community and is beginning to flourish!
